What is a color harmony?

Color harmonies are based on the position of colors on the color wheel. Color theory identifies precise geometric relationships — complementary (180°), triadic (120°), tetradic (90°) — that produce visually balanced combinations.

Which harmony to choose?

Complementary creates strong contrast, ideal for call-to-actions. Analogous gives a soft atmosphere for calming interfaces. Triadic offers visual richness for creative designs. Split-complementary balances contrast and sophistication.
